Chiropractor Krista King joins SRC team
I am very pleased to announce that Krista King will be joining our chiropractic team at Shirley Rd Chiropractic on Monday, 1 December. Krista brings with her much experience and will be available at the Crows Nest practice on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoon.
Krista graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Masters of Chiropractic. She was drawn to chiropractic as she wanted to be able to help people and actively contribute to their wellbeing.
As a keen long distance runner, Krista has first hand experience of the advantages of chiropractic care, noting significantly fewer sporting injuries, decreased healing time for those she has had, and decreased joint and muscle pains since becoming a chiropractic patient herself. She is a firm believer in chiropractic as a lifestyle and has seen the benefits to people from all walks of life, no matter their age, sex, occupation or body type.
In 2009 Krista had the privilege of treating international competitors at the Sydney World Masters Games across a variety of sports. In 2011 Krista published a paper alongside Brent Gordon and Henry Pollard on Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy, a condition that involves spinal cord damage due to arthritic changes in the neck. Previously, she was also employed by Macquarie University to assist in teaching Chiropractic students.
