Rebecca Player is a registered chiropractor who completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. Whilst studying, Rebecca prided herself on academic excellence achieving the Chiropractic Association of Australia’s academic excellence award in 2014. Rebecca has also completed the ICCSP lower limb biomechanics course as well as a rocktaping course. Rebecca aims to complete her sports chiropractic ICCSP qualification in the coming year. Rebecca is also aiming to complete a course in dry needling by March 2016.
Rebecca is a passionate chiropractor who has particular interest in lower and upper limb biomechanics and dance related injuries and injury prevention. Rebecca has been a member of the dance community since aged 4 years and has competed in various competitions representing the state in dance companies. Rebecca is a fully qualified ballet and tap teacher and currently teaches dance at numerous studios around Sydney and the central coast. Dance and the love of the human body is what inspired Rebecca to take up a chiropractic degree.
Rebecca seeks to educate and rehabilitate her patients and the wider community for injury prevention. She believes knowledge is power in making the correct choices to avoid injury and live a healthy life. Rebecca speaks at dance studios providing information on anatomy for dancers, safe dance practice and injury prevention.
