Your First Visit

At your initial consultation, which lasts from around 45 minutes – 1 hour 15 minutes, we conduct a thorough history review and examination to help determine the underlying cause of any problems. There is some paperwork to be filled out prior to the consultation which will assist in diagnosis and management strategies. Our reception staff will have you arrive earlier to manage this paperwork. At the end of the consultation, we may require further imaging by way of spinal X-Rays or MRI. If this is the case, we will write a referral.  Once these have been obtained, we will review your file and examine your images and then discuss them with you on your next visit.

If Chiropractic can be of benefit to you we will design you a personalised spinal care programme. However, we are also educated to identify other conditions, which may require referral to another specialist for treatment.

Appointments

We respect your time, as we hope you do ours, and so we appreciate your punctual arrival to appointments. If you do need to change your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so that others in need of care can receive the service they require.

The day before your visit, or on a Saturday if the appointment is a Monday, you should receive a confirmation text message to alert you of the appointment time. Most people find these very helpful and there is no need to respond to the message unless you are unable to attend. If you do not require this service, please just let us know.
